Millard Muncy, Nona M. Tom Larsen from Sweden, Hazel M. Allen Harmon, Isaac M. Siller Moore, Elias M. Hessie Muncy, Vina M. Herbert Moore, Mattie M. Sampson Pauley and one son died young.
Elias was truly a pillar of the community where he lived and raised his family at Pilgrim, KY. He owned about a 50 acre farm at the junction of Peter Cave and Pigeon Roost Creeks.. He was a self-taught and accomplished Blacksmith as well as a carpenter. He had a shop
with his blacksmith equipment and had a set of stocks nearby. He would shoe oxen, horses, and mules. He would sharpen tools for people, he could build corn sleds, fodder sleds, and wooden plow stalks as they were called then. People would come from surrounding counties to put their order in for a plow stalk. They had to be built to the right dimensions to run true, and his always did.
He also built coffins. One man said that he probably built 500 of them, many when the Flu took the lives of many. Elias also was a type of dentist for the community. The nearest Dentist meant a walk to Kermit and back plus paying a dollar to get a tooth pulled. Elias would pull them for free with a set of tooth drawers-if they did not holler. He was a member of the Wolf Creek Church for 60 years and served as a Deacon. He had the gift of stopping blood and many people would come to him for that reason. He was called "Uncle Elias" by all who knew him as a title of respect due to the life he lived before the community
